Loved the Deep Hair Conditioner, at least the first use, we’ll see about long term. I thought for sure doing it first and shampooing it out would leave my hair dry but it didn’t, and it was the easiest to brush after showering than ever before. My hair is long and thick, I go through twice as much conditioner as I do shampoo so it’s nice to have something I can make at home, safe money, reduce plastic. Awesome.
I am so going to try this! I will let you know what happens ? Thanks for ALL your helpful information.
I am new to doTerra. Long story short, I just sent in an order for the oils used in this formula. This time next year I expect to be one hairy great-grammy! Thank you for the post!
Also, YES, this formula works! My niece is regrowing hair!
These are great ideas! My mother is a doterra consultant! Ill defiantely show her these ideas so we can help others around our area with these issues
Thanks for sharing! I know quite a few people besides myself that will appreciate this!
Dear Rebecca, I can’t thank you enough for the recipe of this blend. Having tried many methods to overcome thinning hair….i must say I started to use this blend without much hope. But somewhere deep down I had faith in the healing potential of essential oils. I noticed small baby hairs growing at the edges (where I had lost lot of hair) after 3 months of using the blend. Now after 6 months, I can see the density of my hair (number of hairs) has definitely increased and hair fall has reduced somewhat.
It is so exciting to see that it worked. Patience and perseverance is the key!
Notes: First I tried the doTERRA Essential Oils for Thicker Hair recipe for 3 months. I added tea tree oil to this as I was also suffering from dandruff.
After using many shampoos for dandruff, I found that neutrogena scalp build-up control shampoo and neutrogena treatment conditioner work for me the best.
After the 3rd month of using the above mentioned recipe, I added the following essential oils to the blend: Clary Sage, Lemon, Cedarwood (not more than a drop or two of each) and sometimes Peppermint or tiny speck of Cinnamon.
I applied the blend after every hair wash and massaged in circular motion for a minute or two and combed and left it till the next hair wash. I have oily scalp but my hair felt well-conditioned when I applied the blend and I had to wash my hair after every 2 days atleast. I must say that I never oiled my hair with any carrier oil in the 6 months. However, I believe I could have see better results if I had done so.
Any other essential oil enthusiasts out there?! Please share your experience ?
Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I’m sure it will help many people.
Aishwarya, I’ curious as to which blend you have used.. Thanks for trying & giving all hope!
