There are so many doTERRA snack recipes for you to enjoy and experience doTERRA in new and fun ways. Did you know that you can use some of the doTERRA essential oils in cooking? There are many doTERRA essential oils that can be ingested and are perfectly safe. Essential oils are just the oil extracted from the plant.
It’s perfectly natural to use essential oils in recipes in place of the actual food and still get the flavor without all the work of chopping etc. They can be used the same way you would use an extract. For example vanilla extract or lemon extract. Instead, you use the essential oil but not the same amount because essential oils are much stronger than extracts.

I think it’s a really easy way to get the flavor and not have to do a lot of work like washing, chopping and cutting fruits and vegetables. I’m all for making my life easier and I think most of you are too. If you’ve never tried doTERRA essential oils in cooking this is the perfect opportunity to start. These doTERRA snack recipes will help you get started. It’s always best to use a recipe rather than just experimenting and these recipes are sure to make the snacks you make a success.

On Guard Popcorn
Source2 T Maple Syrup, 1/4 C Coconut Oil *, 1 bag Salted Natural Popcorn, 8 drops On Guard, 1/2 t Cinnamon *. Warm coconut oil * and maple syrup over low heat, whisking together. Drop essential oil into the mixture, whisk and pour over popcorn. Mix into popcorn, sprinkle cinnamon * and let cool before covering.
